The No. 3 Ole Miss Rebels travel down Interstate 55 this weekend to take on No. 23 LSU Bayou Bengals in the seventh annual Magnolia Bowl trophy game.
Coach Hugh Freeze spoke this afternoon about how well-rounded LSU has become in the last two weeks. Freeze also commended defender D.T. Shackelford for his humble attitude on and off the field and helps the team before helping himself.
Freeze was also asked about one sideline official instructing a defender to not throw up the Landshark symbol. Officials said this was a taunting call and not a removal of the gesture from the game as a whole.
