Oxford police responded to the following calls: two fire department assist, four alarms, other agency assist, 911 hang-up, civil matter, two suspicious activities, four reported DUI’s, report of recovered property, motor assist, harassing phone call, improper parking, suspicious person, disturbing the peace and a welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 16 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

2 Possession of a Fake ID and Public Drunk
Careless Driving, Seatbelt Violation and DUI
Public Drunk
2 Careless Driving and DUI
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Careless Driving, Open Container and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accidents, two alarms, animal complaint, two disturbances, juvenile complaint, 18 service calls, welfare concern, three transports, four traffic complaints, follow up.

A tree limb fell onto a power line – FD stood by for electric dept. at 102 Joel Lane.
A smoke detector malfunction at the Phi Kappa Psi house – room #209.
University Police
Made six vehicle stops.
A report of credit card fraud at the University Police Department.
A wreck at Crosby Hall.
