Top 5 Places To Dine On Ole Miss’ Campus
Oxford is a jackpot of unique restaurants, and the Ole Miss campus is steadily becoming its own haven of great food also.
Check out our Top 5:
- Cane’s
Cane’s chicken fingers are by far the best thing you can eat on campus. Even locals put up with the campus traffic just to get some chicken fingers; they are just that GOOD!
Editor’s meal choice: The box combo with a large sweet tea
2. 1810 Grill
1810 Grill is a close second in the top five places on campus. They are notorious for steak night, and who knows, you may get the chance to eat dinner next to “Swag” Kelly. Or you may be lucky enough to have dinner and show with the indoor practice field on the other side of the glass window!
Editor’s meal choice: Steak..duh
3. Freshii
Freshii, which is located beneath the JC, is a crowd favorite because not only is it leaning towards the healthier side, but it also tastes phenomenal. You can enjoy anything from a burrito to soup and salad inside or outside under the green umbrellas.
Editor’s meal choice: Quinoa teriyaki bowl
4. Steak N Shake
The whole school was raving when they heard Oxford was getting a Steak N Shake, and then the news became 10x greater when they announced its location in the Pavillion. Nothing beats a good old fashioned steakburger with a view. Students love to eat their meal at the countertops overlooking the Ole Miss Rebel’s basketball court.
Editor’s meal choice: Steak burger and a milk shake.. obviously!
5. Einstein Bros. Bagels
Einsteins is a perfect place to get a good cup of coffee without the 30 min long wait of Starbucks. Also, it is conveniently located right across the Pavillion, so many students like to take their bagels and enjoy the view of the basketball court.
Editor’s meal choice: Einsteins has a killer bacon, egg and cheese bagel.
