The Ole Miss Rebels will close out their non-conference schedule slate Saturday against the Presbyterian Blue Hose.
Presbyterian comes into Oxford with the record of 5-4 on the season, with key victories coming this season over Furman and Monmouth.
Most Ole Miss fans are probably unsure of where exactly Presbyterian College actually is located, but the small college was established in 1880 in Clinton, South Carolina, and is part of the Big South Conference. The Blue Hose football team is coached by Harold Nichols, who is 16-47 in his sixth season at the helm.
The Blue Hose have fielded a football team since the 1913 season and is 478-460-35 in their 101 years. Presbyterian has only appeared in one bowl game in their history in the 1959 season in the Tangerine Bowl against the Middle Tennessee State, but fell to the Blue Raiders 21-12.
Presbyterian College has sent one player to the NFL: cornerback Justin Bethel was drafted in the sixth round by the Arizona Cardinals in 2012.
The Blue Hose also have fiffteen other varsity sports in competition every season.
