Everything Ole Miss? I'll Take It!

When I married a “Rebel,” I had no idea I was marrying into the world where you need “Everything Ole Miss!” Anybody?
When we got married, I remember asking my husband just how many things did he think we needed with the Ole Miss logo on it? (Please don’t shake your head at me yet, if you don’t know how I became a Rebel, read here and then you will understand.) I married into the Ole Miss family and I wondered how much red and blue was actually required to be a Rebel or to be married to one when I saw the piles and piles as he unpacked it into our home.
I will admit that in the beginning I was quite confused about the “necessity” of a few of the items that came to our house as gifts or purchased by my husband, but, I found myself VERY quickly crazy over it all! ALL of it! Even those little tree faces! You know which tree faces I am talking about!
I guess bottom line is I didn’t just walk onto the “let’s buy everything Ole Miss Ship,” I jumped on it! If it is cute and it is red and blue, I want it!
Our foyer is lit up by our year round “Hotty Toddy” tree and is always a fun place to make our State and LSU friends take a little friendly photo! (cough, cough!) Not only is it a great conversation piece, it also serves as a walk down memory lane as our collection of Ole Miss Ornaments have greatly increased. Definitely a fun tree and regardless of the season, WE ARE (always) READY for it!
pic 1Shopping for unique Ole Miss Apparel and accessories is now something I love to do! It is amazing the things you can find that adorn the University’s logo, colors and school spirit! One of the best places for good finds is at Cracker Barrel, my boys like to eat and mama likes to shop! It’s a win-win for us all! That’s where I found these heels!pic 2
And every gal that has a Hotty Toddy tree needs these, right? Right!
This is one of my favorite shirts and when I wear it, I am asked quite frequently where I purchased it from and y’all I cannot remember. I bought it years ago on the coast and have never seen another one. If you have one, please let me know where you got yours from. (Lots of folks want to know.)

The Weatherly Family
The Weatherly Family

Anybody have one of these? This Ole Miss Fathead was from “Santa.” Boy it must have been really hard for Santa to put that on the wall while Nathan was sleeping just five feet away considering he only had a flashlight, a damp rag and a wife that he made leave the room because she couldn’t quit giggling. Not sure where his elves were, but wow, he probably could have used them since that helmet rolled up about 101 times! Good times! Good times!
pic 4Oh and y’all, at our son’s birthday party, I proudly handed an “Ole Miss” branded hamburger to our sweet friends in the purple and yellow! Please note that when the Ole Miss brander came in (to our home) I was like WHAT? And now I’m like BAM! Yep, that’s how we roll! You wanna eat a burger here? Well, alrighty, there may be a little something, something stamped on it…just sayin’!
pic 5I’m always on the hunt for more red and blue! Quite a change from the beginning, yes? Yes! I love it! I love it all! And anytime I have the opportunity to do this with biscuit dough or cinnamon rolls, I do it! Definitely a fun way to eat breakfast with the boys!
From our porch to our pool, what we love is obvious. And from the moment you walk into our home, you will immediately discover three things about our family. We love Jesus, we have three boys and we love the Ole Miss Rebels!
I could post hundreds of photos of things in our home but I would want to hear from you!
So, ARE YOU READY to share photos of your favorite things? I would love to see them! I would love to see what I am missing in my collection and hear about your favorite finds!
pic 7I am laughing as I type this because I just sat my Ole Miss glass upon my Ole Miss coaster while I am wearing my Ole Miss shirt covered up in an Ole Miss blanket! I rest my case, y’all! Hotty Toddy!
